"We are making the world a better place" ... "We are SoMoLo" .... "We revolutionize..." bla bla bla.... GET OVER YOURSELF. So funny how the bullshit talk is made fun of at a TechCrunch conference in the TV show "Silicon Valley" :-)

I like the shirt, Scott. Pressuring yourself is a difficult one. I ve tried it. What happens is that you get a bit hectic. Your Form suffers. Got to take that into account

Hi Mike, on your podcasts it would great if you speak a bit louder / clearer into the microphone. Reason being that many people listen to the episodes on the go. Often there is quite a bit of background noise. The people you interview are often way louder / clearer than you. That would be great.

+davidb7486 I probably just have to talk louder in general.

Hi Scott,

I am not able to train any upper body muscles at the moment as I feel slight pain in my right delt. I have to wait till that subsides. Is there any way to speed the healing up? I am getting restless and only doing legs and abs sucks.

Thanks

Hey Scott, alles klar? (bump up that German to understand that one :-) On your low row cable pull you dont move your upper body very much. I always thought that you should move your upper body forward about 30 degrees when lowering the weight. What are the advantages and disadvantages of both methods?

haha I will have to brush up on my German :)

If you move forward you bring your lower back into the exercise... which is fine.. but with deadlifts already in the routine I chose to stay stiff to focus more on rhomboids :)

Mike, where should I go to find my BMR and to then calculate my macros? There are no links here. Thanks, Greets from Germany

I went to the Haberdashery in Stock Newington. In close proximity to Dalston, Stock N. is up and coming. And a nice coffee place like Haberdahery fits in. The area is still pretty far away from being clean cut but its developing. You step into Haberdashery and its like you stepped into a smooth place in a rough area. Soothing, kinda cool music, white middle class guests (I know that sounds really racist but its really not supposed to be - normally in that area its very mixed...at best), good coffee, kind of improvised, beautiful, broken walls - you could be right in a café in Berlin actually. Its just nice to have a place like this in a area where there are no other cafés like that. Try it.

7 minutes from the infamous Hoxton Square further up Hoxton Road, lies this unpretentious yet inviting pub. When you get up here on Hoxton Road you are outside the cool area. You are not on Shoreditch HighStreet and not so near Old Street and Hoxton Square as to annoying hipsters in fishing trousers and huge glasses walking in. Yet close enough as to walk there and just go somewhere different without having to travel to the end of the world. Yet we are not talking a totally boring local old man pub either. When I was there the pub was full of young people. There is a pub nearby called the Macbeth where there are loads of small concerts. So you get bands in the place quite often also. The bar staff actually also look like they are in a band. All inked up and stuff. The music was more along the rock lines with an old Led Zeppelin poster just above our table. The interior is not the traditional pub thing with carpets and wooden panelled walls but not the bar interior that janks up beer prices by 35% either. What I found great was the line the "Howl at the Moon" walks. Not too trendy and pricey but not boring, too local and stale either. It is a great chilled out place to just drink two or three pints and think what you are going to do next. If that is what you are after then I really recommend this place.

I came here in the afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised. Reason being that the Dragon Bar manages to be cool without trying to hard. That is a nice change in Shoreditch. Shoreditch being the hipster place numero uno in London. The Dragon Bar has an interior that is really down to earth. Unpretentious. No chrome or glass or 5 pound pints. It is not some pub-like random shabby bar either. There is a upstairs which is more drinking pub style and a downstairs lounge. Definitely a great place to start the night. You may even decide to just spend your time here and not leave :-)

Famous Electronic music club with a incredible terrace right on the river. The view from the club is spectacular. Right opposite is the lighted Universal Music building next to the bridge that connects Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. However - Berliners would hardly ever go there. Way too touristy, expensive and mainstream. But you should go there once to check out the terrace and watch the sun go up. Then you can take Watergate off your list and go for smaller electro clubs that are way more interesting
