The students of Suzanne Cory High School are participating in World Vision's 40 Hour Famine to stand up against global hunger. Please help support our school by donating to this good cause and assist in helping children and families break free from hunger and poverty. Share our page with friends and families as the more people that help us, the more third world citizens can be helped.

Goodness gracious, handfuls of fire!

As part of National Science Week our students (literally) played with fire! Judging from some of their reactions, it was almost too hot to handle!

Come see meek florist's assistant Seymour Krelborn find an unusual looking plant during a total eclipse of the sun and name it after the girl that he secretly adores. When Seymour discovers that his little 'Audrey II' has a taste for blood, he grudgingly caters to the plant's needs and is rewarded with fame, fortune and the girl of his dreams.

But as the plant grows so does its appetite, and it isn't long before it wants more than just blood...

Today, 34 Australians will be given the devastating news that they have blood cancer, and they’ll turn to the Leukaemia Foundation for help.

Please lend a helping hand to the Suzanne Cory team and donate to aid in furthering the research to find a cure. We, at Suzanne Cory want to raise at least $500, which could help arrange places for rural cancer patients to stay so that they are close to their treatment centres.

By supporting Suzanne Cory you'll be supporting these families that are in need of help.

Help make the most of the student and teacher's hairy sacrifice. Sponsor us and donate as much as you can, because every cent donated supports the patients and the researchers.

Cory’s Cupids came down upon Suzanne Cory High School bringing chocolate roses and good will to the whole school community. In the second Valentine’s fundraiser students raised money for the Heart Foundation (@HeartAust) and our imminent Asia Pacific Youth Foundation Cambodia Project (@apyfprojects) by anonymously gifting the gilded treats to one another. Can you think of anything sweeter? #valentines #charity #suzannecoryhs #suzannecoryhighschool

What would you do to help build a house for a family in need?

To help the nineteen students and three teachers from Suzanne Cory High School who have volunteered to travel to Cambodia to do just this, one of our teachers, Ms Marissa Chui, is going to shave her head - if she can raise $2000 by March 7th 2016! But she needs your help!

Suzanne Cory High School gets involved with the World's Greatest Shave every year and this year they will be holding the hair colouring/shaving event on March 11. If you can help her raise the money, come March 11th, she will be giving the very hair from her head to help a great cause.

All members involved in the Cambodia project pay for their own expenses; all funds raised go directly towards the resources required for this project. If they raise more than enough funds for this project, they could also help a Cambodian student attend university. This is your chance to help make a difference.
