“The soul of this party is sushi worth getting crazy for, made by three chefs with a strong traditional bent: Hiromi Suzuki, Makoto Yoshizawa and David Bouhadana. Mr. Bouhadana is the proprietor and the ringleader, and the most exuberant customers seem to gravitate to his end of the counter.”Read the full two page review >>

Chef David Bouhadana spent three years living in the Kansai region of Japan where some of the top sushi chef’s in that area get their training.

He learned the pure art of what making sushi is all about, and he never stops learning: his roots are embedded in the Japanese culture of hard work and discipline. Come to Sushi Dojo for a great experience!

Excellent sushi place. I sat at the counters with 2 other friends and had their 15-course sushi/role omakase. Each course was very good and fresh. Highly recommended. FYI, they don't carry any wagyu/kobe beef. Good date spot.

I thought I knew what sushi was until I came here. WOW! Great sushi, cool vibe, and an education -- the chef will explain stuff.

The quality of the sushi is fantastic, but I was disappointed that I wasn't able to order the omakase (10 course tasting -- a lot less food than it sounds) from a table. You have to have a rez for the bar to get the omakase ($45-50 from what I remember). It's a small restaurant that gets really loud when it's full. The service is good and the staff is very polite. I don't recommend going here to 'get full' unless you're looking to blow a lot of money.
