Eileen took a dance class last week in an inner city park in Sydney - and she was amazing - I wasn't so good but what a privilege to be taught by such a special woman who embraces dances as a spiritual and total experience. She is 100 years old and 3 weeks.

I just did a talk and asked for a donation to Room to read - so I'll be handing that over to Jennie Orchard to buy 100 books in a developing country!  I feel good about that.

Ships In The Field - is about my family and Anna Pignataro family who made home here. It was a real emotional journey.

This one of the extraordinary spa experiences - my body and skin felt refreshed and revitalised.

I had the pleasure of speaking to students in the Education Faculty. Their open mindedness and willingness to embrace international books was inspiring. As an Australian author, it was wonderful sharing my I AM JACK' and anti bullying through literature with them. Hosted by Professor Ernest Bond and Patricia Dean, I enjoyed this university where there was a real commitment to raising literacy rates, promotion of international books, excellence and literature which opens discussion on the environment. I loved the university being so integrated into the town of Salisbury. it was a beautiful campus and a welcoming town.
