I sometimes forget that many people don't keep up with the same topics I follow up with, even the most important news that may have an impact on them or an important service they utilize. If you haven't already read up on SOPA, there is legislation that will be voted on this month on the future of the internet on how sites with copyright infringement will be handled. While the reason for the legislation can be supported, the way it will be dealt with and the vagueness of how it is worded, opens up a lot of issues, thus....it has been named the "internet censorship" law. Hopefully more non-technical people get word of this legislation to bring it to the greater masses! http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2012/01/11/reddits-sopa-blackout-admirable-but-google-and-facebook-must-follow/
