Since a lot of people already use Google, this sounds like routine consumerization.

(Consumerization is the reorientation of product and service designs around the individual end user. The emergence of the individual consumer as the primary driver of product and service design originated from and is most commonly seen as a major IT industry shift, as large business and government organizations dominated the early decades of computer usage and development.)

Couple points:

Not sure it is possible to determine if a supplier is a 'full strategic partner' after a nine-month implementation of undifferentiated, commodity IT services.

Truly strategic partners inhabit and guide the enterprise architecture, core capabilities and transactional backbone, for example. That take three to five years or more to fully realize, not nine months.

Also, Google Docs, per se, does not offer an '...ability to eliminate unnecessary meetings.' Documents don't call unnecessary meetings, people do!

Anyway, despite the amicable hubris, its a big step towards the long-sought Grail of IT offerings and services - Enterprise Dial Tone.

Great interview with early adopter and social pioneer Gloria Burke of Unisys.

Very exciting chance to talk to +Gloria Burke about the future of work, the power of social and how she is demonstrating social in her own leadership.

Terrific interview. Hits several marks on integration and value of the social enterprise.  (And I love that she's willing to call out dinosaurs!)

There are different ways to represent this visually (eg without lines, as over lapping Venn diagrams and / or other 'summarizing / clustering' visual analytics methods that could potentially make such analyses a lot simpler and more useful, I think.  Depends upon what you want to understand / find, and why ..

Not paid to write this, and I'm not related to the owner… I had an exceptional experience at this auto body shop. My car was side-swiped over the holidays and required fairly extensive body work. From start to finish, these guys were friendly, honest, and great to deal with. The work they did on the car was superb, and I was remarkably pleased at how well the experience went. They also have an Enterprise car rental desk on-site. I also had zero issues with the car rental experience. My insurance company, Geico, recommended this as one of their preferred suppliers. Altogether a shockingly stress-free experience. This is now my #1 go-to source for auto body repair (which, of course, I hope I'll never need again). Highly recommend.

I've visited a number of dentists and oral surgeons in the Austin area, and have had mixed results (mostly negative). Dr. Hammons is the *only* dentist who made me feel completely at ease about a particularly unpleasant dental procedure I needed to have. I found the entire experience completely stress-free. The prices are very competitive, the staff is friendly, and Dr. Hammons is a knowledgeable pro who talks to you like a person, not a patient. Highly, highly recommend.

Dr. Barnett and his team performed a small miracle with my teenage son. The process took a lot longer than I had anticipated, but they were very patient and made sure my son's orthodontic treatment was executed properly. No child likes the ordeal surrounding getting braces, but Dr. Barnett's team made the process as painless and convenient as possible. The before and after photos are amazing! The staff was very helpful and friendly. I especially enjoyed the office's use of electronic reminders, free wifi in the office, and the easy payment plan.
