Christia Mercer's experiences and research have illustrated what many people (including Supreme Court Justices) is that inmates need education/job training to keep recidivism down.  If we spent as much money on education we would dramatically decrease the  inmates in the prisons.  Unfortunately most of the big money today is in corrections so the trend is to incarcerate as many as possible.  Without change while they are locked up nothing changes and inmates find themselves in the same situations they left in.  Education is the key.

A fallen soldier should always be treated with respect.  The baggage handlers at Delta Airlines shows honor and respect to a soldier and his dog.  The mutual respect of the Miitary, Flight and Baggage personnel are without a doubt a true effort to give honor to this soldier.  Well done

The singers circle up for a song next: a soothing, mellow, beatbox rendition of Pentatonix’s “Run to You,” a piece that is both vocally and harmonically challenging.

"It's not so much a flash in the pan. It's more toward people turning back to original music," he said, tracing what he calls the oldest form of music back to medieval madrigals and chanting monks.
Ever since he graduated college about 25 years ago, Deke Sharon has wanted to be the Johnny Appleseed of contemporary a capella music.

Sheriff Joe is way overdue in being treated like what he is --- a criminal in sheriff's clothing.

When you think about it, Pentatonix is really the first a cappella group to ever break through the mainstream. It's an understatement to say they are wildly successful at bridging the gap between college-choir side project and big-time pop stars, and considering all of these factors and the main factor that audiences in 2015 are ready for a singing group of this caliber, Pentatonix is really proving that it is their time.

The Bruckner piece "Christus Factus est Pro Nobis" (intro to Aha!) really extended my perception of them- I knew they were classically trained, but not to that depth...they are deeply serious, sophisticated, extremely intelligent musical adepts, merely hiding behind the personas of up-and-coming pop artists. The trick for them now is to grow and integrate the former and not fall into the shallow vanity of the latter.
And that was a great review btw, a good, right to the point synopsis of where they're at now.

Justice Stephen Breyer, seated alongside Justice Kennedy, added that setting mandatory minimum sentences for specific crimes was “a terrible idea.”
Two Supreme Court justices told a House subcommittee that the U.S. criminal-justice system is too harsh, locks up too many people for too long and does so at an ultimate cost to public safety.

This is absolutely hysterical.  Watch Tom Hanks show tidbits of every movie he has starred in in just 8 minutes.
Tom Hanks and James Corden recreated dozens of Hanks' best films, from 'Forrest Gump' to 'Toy Story.'

Winslow Apache Unit is one of the smaller Arizona State Prisons. It houses about 450 minimum security prisoners. In this remote location most of the inmates work outside the prison complex in local communities. Work crews include Wild Land Fire Service, Forestry Department workers, Parks and Recreations and City work crews are also filled out by prison labor. The prison, being minimum security, is slightly more tolerable than other units. Inmates say the food is "alright, nothing to brag about but edible". The pods are an open unit rather than small cells giving it a community living approach to incarceration.

The 4th Avenue Jail is the central intake for Maricopa County, Arizona. All inmates are processed for the county jail system at this location. Initial appearance before a magistrate occurs within 24 hours of a defendants arrest on premises. The upper floors hold inmates, both sentenced and unsentenced, that are classified as Maximum Security (males only). This jail, along with the other jails, are managed by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Organization.

Excellent company. This team moves carefully and efficiently! When I asked them how I could help the owner told me my job was to relax. With these guys I could do just that. I needed a mover on short notice because the original ones cancelled on me last minute. Although Above All Moving was booked he added an extra crew just to help me out. Both courteous and professional I would highly recommend them.

If you prefer good flavor and taste over decor this is the place. A wide variety of Mexican dishes with a small selection of American entrees made on premises. El Norteno may not be fancy but the flavorful food makes up for it. There is only outdoor seating. They do accept phone orders, but no delivery. Very reasonably priced.
