Job Search Sabotage

This is a serious and greatly under-estimated problem!
These days, a job search is often a long, discouraging slog through endless rejection and, worse than the rejection, being ignored -- invisible. All that effort to apply, and then nothing. Rejection is almost a high point, because it means someone (or something) responded, at least.

Introduction
I'm an online job search expert (having studied it for over 15 years), author, Boomer, veteran (USMC), laid off twice. In 1995, I founded NETability, Inc. after my second layoff.  

As someone who has been through 2 layoffs plus several voluntary career changes in my 30+ years of work, I am passionate about helping job seekers understand how to successfully find new jobs. My background in military intelligence, HR, and compensation consulting plus a few years as a programmer and nearly 20 years as a web developer have given me a relatively unique perspective, particularly about online job search. 

I also manage the Job-Hunt Help LinkedIn Group, speak about online job search at conferences and job clubs, am a Visiting Scholar at the MIT Sloan School of Management, and am also planning to write more books about smart job search.
