Introduction
Surry Community college's main campus is located in Dobson, NC in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains servicing Surry and Yadkin counties. We also operate the Workforce Development Center in Mount Airy, the Yadkin Center in Yadkinville, the Pilot Center in Pilot Mountain, and The Elkin Center in Elkin.

We offer 36 areas of study, many of which have options for an associate degree, diploma or certificate, as well as online degrees.

In addition, the college serves over 18,000 students in over 1,500 classes through our Corporate and Continuing Education division. This area of the college offers a variety of learning opportunities through “not-for-credit” classes for those looking to take a one-time class for personal enrichment or to expand their knowledge base in a particular area.
