Winter is coming… and so are the Rodents!

As temperatures drop, rats and mice typically head indoors to search for food and shelter. These rodents typically live in groups, in nests, constructed of soft materials such as paper, fabrics and insulation.
They are most commonly found in wall voids, roof voids, under floors and in stored foods. They are scavengers, with the location of their nests typically determined by their access to food and water.

Rodents can pose a serious health problem to humans because of their ability to transmit diseases by a variety of means.

What can you do to reduce your risk of rodent infestation?

• Seal any gaps in walls and around pipes.
• Secure ventilation holes and drain pipes with mesh.
• Use draft excluders on the bottoms of external doors.
• Cleanliness. Cleanliness . Cleanliness.
• Keep food in sealed containers.
• Dispose of rubbish and clean up any spillages ASAP.
• Keep bin lids closed.
• Clear up any fallen fruit and leftover bird food from your garden.

Summer is here and for a lot of people that means it's time to get your Annual General Pest Control Service done before the cockroaches, ants and spiders make your home theirs!

Surekil provides a comprehensive internal and external pest control service for the treatment of cockroaches, internal ants, silverfish, internal redback spiders and external web spinning spiders.

Internal Pest Control Service
The lower internal walls are sprayed, a dust is blown into the roof void and applied to cracks and crevices as required and a cockroach gel is applied in the kitchen and bathroom cupboards.

External Pest Control Service
A spray is applied to external walls, eaves, guttering, around doors and windows, pool fences and garden sheds are sprayed and a dust is blown into the external wall cavities.

How long does it take?
As a guide, for an average three bedroom home under 40 square meters, this service takes approximately one and a half hours.

Warranty Periods
For each of the pests treated, the following warranty periods apply:

Pest Warranty Period
Cockroaches 12 months
Ants (internal only) 3 months
Spiders (external only) 6 months
Silverfish 12 months
