For the 5th year in a row, Sure-Fire, Inc. is installing a furnace in a needy family's home.

Do you know a neighbor, friend, or family member that has fallen on tough times? Nominate them by telling their story at www.heatupwisconsin.com/nominate and they could be the recipient of a brand new Lennox furnace, AT NO COST!

Last year, the Wegmann family from Mayville, Wisconsin were the recipients after learning their 30 year old furnace had a cracked heat exchanger. With medical bills piled up and no way to afford a new furnace, their Pastor nominated them for the Heat U.P. Wisconsin campaign. A few short weeks later they had a new furnace and were ready to go for years to come.

Go to www.surefireinc.com/heatupwisconsin.html or www.heatupwisconsin.com for more information.

We need your help finding these needy families! Please, PLEASE share this with your friends and family so that we can find the most deserving families. Thanks for your help!

It's fall - which means your furnace will probably be running for the next 6 months.  There are a few things you can do before the real cold sets in that can really help your furnace out.

1. Turn it on NOW (before you need need need it).  If you notice any unusual smells, sounds, or vibrations, it's probably time to get the system tuned up.

2. Check your filter.  Dust and dirt can quickly clog vital parts, making your furnace run harder and eventually break down.

3. Check your registers.  Make sure they're all free of obstructions.  If you have high/low return registers, make sure the low ones are open during the winter months.

4. Check your carbon monoxide alarms.  Make sure the batteries are fully charged and ready to keep you safe during the heating season.

Let us know if you have any questions!  (920) 485-4883 or www.surefireinc.com/contact-us.html

Myth: "My ACs only a couple years old. I don't need maintenance done on it."

Fact: Many manufacturers warranties exclude parts that failed due to lack of maintenance.

Go to www.surefireinc.com/service.html to schedule your annual maintenance - right now!
