I do have a good reason for crores and lakhs and also having specific words for every number from 0 to 100 - It's way easier to say and grasp the numbers.

e.g. Consider the number 234500000:
Hindi: 23,45,00,000 - Teis crore paintalis lakh.
English: 234,500,000 - Two hundred and thirty four million five hundred thousand.

It's clearly significantly shorter to say the number and also arguably easier to read and understand. I may be a little biased, although I grew up with the Indian system, I live in the States and I've studied mostly in English so I'm familiar with both the systems but still find lakh and crore system more convenient. Anyway, this video is one of the most interesting and informative videos by Numberphile. :)

Nice comparison! Being able to hide a heads-up notification without dismissing it might be my favorite 5.1 feature. It is annoying when a heads-up notification comes and I have to wait for a few seconds to be able to tap back in my current app or use address bar in Chrome.

This is already looking like a very good channel, enlightening us with the knowledge of probably the world's most ignored parts that "main stream media" will never talk about. Hoping to get more information about the world that we barely know. Thanks!

A guide to understanding us engineers.

[edit: I forgot to add an important one:
Working as intended = Reality is wrong, and has to be fixed to match the output of the code]

Nice place to grab quick lunch. The food is a little blunt to my liking. If you prefer your food not so spicy, this probably is one of the better Indian restaurants in the area.

Probably the worst IHOP restaurant in Manhattan. Old and broken furniture, crappy service, and more often than not they're out of stuff you really want.

Food here is really good. Service is not bad either. Plus, they play good Hindi, Punjabi, and English music from different eras. Probably the most underrated restaurant in the area. They really need to do something about the entrance, the restaurant appears to be closed even when it's open.
