Y12SR is modeled after the meetings of 12-step programs, Y12SR is a group sharing circle coupled with an intentionally themed trauma-informed yoga practice, guided deep relaxation & meditation. Y12SR deepens any work participants may be currently doing or jump-start the journey of self-discovery. Y12SR is an ongoing weekly; open, safe. sacred, anonymous and inclusive meeting for everyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behavior of others.
Y12SR integrate the cognitive (intellectual) approach of the 12 steps, along with the somatic (Physical) approach of yoga and breath-work. The combination of the two adds a greater dimension addressing addiction, as the physical ~ mental and spiritual dis-ease that it truly is. Based on the Ancient principles of the 216th Yoga Sutra; "Heyam Dukkha Managatam" when translated means "Future Suffering CAN be Avoided."
I invite you to please arrive at least 15 minutes early to settle into your space. We begin promptly @ 7:00pm. For your comfort do not eat at least one hour prior to attending class. Wear comfortable clothes for practice. A limited # of yoga mats are available for use...If you have your own, please bring it to class.

Y12SR is in NO WAY a replacement for any other part of the 12 step program. But rather it provides an adjunct tool to address the dis-ease of addiction, and helps creates a platform for relapse prevention and maintaining SUSTAINABLE Recovery. Classes are self sustaining with a suggested $10 donation...Y12SR believes "YOU are worth more than your Money." For additional information: Y12SR.com

Classes are held @ The Bethlehem Recovery Center 548 N. New St. every TUESDAY @ 9:30am & THURSDAY @ 7:00pm beginning August 14th, 2018.
