Cellphone HDRs from my walk.
Here are some cellphone HDRs shot with my new Nexus 6 on my walk on Arroyo Del Valle Trail in Pleasanton, CA. I normally don't post my cellphone shots, but the sunset scenery for today was so beautiful and it was the only camera I had on hand. As always, your best camera is always the one at hand. :) This is the first time I've visited this segment of the trail. I will definitely be doing this walk again next time with my big camera and tripod!

According to Google Fit, I walked for 1 hour 46 minutes, 3.53 miles, and took 9,200 steps. My legs feel like 2 rocks. So I better rest soon!

Message From The Photographer: Hi friends! I have some good news! As you know my Nexus 5 recently broke. Someone gifted me a Nexus 6 so now I do have a phone again! As I mentioned in my previous posts, a cellphone is a very important tool to me as a photographer. As big and bulky as it is, I am quite liking it now. I can be back shooting photos without compromising much. I'm glad the nightmare of not having a smartphone and WiFi hopping with my Nexus 5 working only over WiFi is now over.

With that said, I am still a broke college student. Most of my photography equipment are from my parents. This phone breaking, did cost me money and a lot of time to try to fix, restore, etc... I have yet to get a case for this phone so it will have some protection. If you guys know me, I'm pretty careless and drop my things a lot (so I'll need a pretty damn good case)! I am still trying to crowd source some funds to cover my out of pocket expenses from this fiasco. I am not asking for donations, but I am asking for some help. Do you shop on Amazon? If you do please bookmark my link (http://amzn.to/1ExuqKV). You only have to use it within the last 24 hours for it to work. It won't cost you anything extra. I participate in the Amazon Associates Program, so Amazon pays me a small commission for every sale I generate for them. The funds I make will help fund for replacement equipment, my photography, and new videos. Thank you guys for your support.

Some new things I got! Yay! This is always exciting!
A Rilakkuma phone pouch! Fits my new Nexus 6 perfectly! Awesome and cute! (eBay Seller "evergreenfancy")

A bigger waterproof box for making a small wilderness survival kit. This was actually a disappointment. The logo sticker already fell off from my water submerge test. 2 of the tabs had to be pried open with tools until I ground it down with my Dremel. Very poor manufacturing with plastic burrs still on it. Cheaply made. (eBay Seller " hottestdealever")

A CHOETECH Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 Charger for my new Nexus 6 so I can quick charge my new phone about 75% faster. Haven't gotten to test it out yet, but a video review will be up on YouTube once I do! (Amazon: http://amzn.to/1EkJFWU)

Device Review: No.1 X1 Rugged Smartphone - We are almost at the end of Q2 for 2015, and we have seen most of the flagship phones for the year already. While flagship phones usually offer bleeding-edge specs and are the most sought after phones, there is a huge market for non-flagship phones. Some offer value, others offer unique differentiating features. Today, we are going to look at the X1 phone by a Chinese company named N0.1. The company promises a truly rugged IP68... http://ow.ly/2YVens
