I'm sure you will want some food to go along with your Low Carb Margaritas, but who really wants to spend all that time having to watch over food as it cooks once you've had a couple drinks?

Well, with this Instant Pot Mexican Chicken Soup recipe, you don't have to watch anything. Just throw all the ingredients into the Instant Pot, and wait.

You can find out more about the recipe here:

Hey y'all, it is 5 o'clock somewhere!

Since it is Cinco de Mayo and there is a good chance you have already started on your margarita drinking, I think it is important to discover some new options than just a standard margarita from a margarita mix....

...especially since a lot of those mixes contain 30+ grams of sugar in each drink!

In this Low Carb Margarita, you only have to worry about 2 grams of sugar, but you don't sacrifice any of the flavor!

So if you are watching your sugar intake but still want to participate in the margarita festivities, you can drink 15 of these before you catch up to one mixed margarita! (Your liver might not be happy though...)

The last few weeks we have been talking a lot about mold and how it can impact our overall health.

Surprisingly, not many doctors and practitioners look at mold toxicity as an underlying cause to other illnesses.

Mold is one of those "silent killers" that can hide behind the walls and slowly drain you with its spores. The symptoms from mold toxicity can mimic many other illnesses, so it can be very difficult to discover.

In last week's episode with Dr. Kelly McCann, we talked a lot about what mold toxicity looks like in the body, and ways to help the body from the inside out.

This week, I talked with Dilip Goswami of Molekule, which is an Air Purifying system that destroys airborne pollutants such as mold and pollen. For this time of year where there can be a lot of moisture and pollen floating through the air, using a device such as Molekule can help to eradicate allergies and exposure to mold!

Listen in to both of these podcasts to get a really good idea on how to help your body to fight off mold and other airborne pollutants!

Tuesday is here, which means another episode of the Summit For Wellness Podcast has been released!

This week I brought on Dr. Steve Politis of Kineci to discuss ways to integrate traditional methods of energy, such as the Chakra System, in with physical therapy protocols.

If you have never spoken with Steve, he is an absolute wealth of knowledge. Every time I chat with him he provides so much information and has a fantastic way of tying it together into real life scenarios.

The same is true in this episode. He talks about the Chakra energy systems, but he does a fantastic job of tying it all back together in how you might see it play out in everyday situations.

So pull up your favorite podcast app and listen to Episode 39!

Have you noticed how everything seems to come in waves of 3? Well this is true even in the rehab world, and Jennifer Lee of Spooner Physical Therapy comes on to talk about all the unique triads that are applied to her physical therapy protocols.

As Jen explains, most protocols do not touch into all the necessary areas to really support someone's rehab journey. By looking at the body, and the influences placed on the body, in sets of 3, then it gives the practitioner more areas to work with to make the rehab process successful.

If you are currently working with a PT or another health practitioner, you will want to listen to this episode so you can determine if you are receiving the best care!

This week's podcast episode we dive into the grey area between rehabilitation and fitness with Pat McCloskey of One To One Fitness Centers.

Pat has an approach to fitness routines where he analyzes how his clients move and learns about their injury history before the routine is created. He then can see exactly what his clients need in order to reach the results they are looking for.

Being in the fitness and rehab industry, there is a separation between fitness and rehab, but there doesn't need to be. Pat discusses how these two areas of health can be integrated together to really benefit the patients and clients.

There is a sixth sense in the body that isn't talked about very often, however it is responsible for reactions to our body's position within space.

Every time we move, our proprioceptors are working like crazy to make sure that our body stays as safe as possible. However, there is a chance that if we enter a motion we are not familiar with, then the proprioceptors won't know what to do and we become injured.

This is the topic of the week with our guest Godelieve Babey of Be Fit Anywhere, LLC . Join us in our latest podcast episode!
