Hi
I am Sue. I am in the class next year in Year 4/5. I joined this MOOC last year and will get more from it this time and will work with my students in 2015!

Sounds like a great idea not in a class but will work on it!
Get in the holiday spirit and join South Australian educators already tweeting the joys of teaching as part of the '12 Joys of Teaching Challenge'.

Don't Tweet?  Post to the digital space of your choice and include the hashtag #12joysofteaching at the end of your post.

Daily Challenges:
D1. Share a response from a student you'll never forget - funny, poignant ... you decide.
D2. Reflect on one of your favourite teachers and what made them special.
D3. Put up an inspirational quote on your classroom door and capture the moment in a photo, video or audio track.
D4. Create a photo collage of the things you love in your classroom
D5. Indulge in a proud teaching moment or five - don't be shy!
D6. Own a classroom fail that you learned from and inspired others to take risks.
D7. Finish this sentence, 'I became a teacher because...'
D8. Tweet a teacher you're grateful to and tell them why - more if you fancy!
D9. Send some notes home for no other reason than to tell parents good news about their child. Take snaps and share.
D10. Leave a thank you post-it note for someone in school - why not make them tea and biscuits too while you're at it? Capture the moment in a photo, video or audio track!
D11. Commit to trying something new in school. What do you fancy exploring?
D12. Put screenshots of all of your previous 11 Tweets or posts on other spaces into a short video, like Flipagram or YouTube's slideshow feature, and feel great.

This article about surveying students opinions seems very interesting. Just because they like the work, teacher etc. It doesn't mean they are learning!
