If I asked you to draw a picture of a copywriter, what would you come up with?

Have been putting a lot of thought to Google+ lately and whether it's actually working for people - or are we all wandering around mumbling something about it being good for SEO without really having much evidence for this?

Would be interested to hear thoughts!

My experience of G+ is that no one really wants to be here. It's a half way house between the other networks which isn't really working.

For me the only return I get is a funky picture next to my blog posts. Which is kind of cool so worth persisting with.

Other than that I feel I would get the same experience out of a mixture of LinkedIn and twitter. +Ann Hawkins link is interesting and maybe shows that it's not very useful for small businesses.

I will persevere but hopefully it will stop feeling like a chore, other than the excellent Social Media Show community that is ;)

General Help  -

Hello, this must be so simple but me and my team have been going round in circles trying to sort it out.

When you search our company name our website shows up first in the results, perfect. However, it is linking through to my personal Google+ profile rather than our Google+ business page.

We've tried changing every setting we can find in the website and in Google+ and nothing seems to work. All thoughts appreciated!

The website is sookio.com, Google Plus page is +Sookio and my personal profile is +Sue Keogh. Thank you!

I've always been really impressed by Sutton Co's work - really striking, clear and thoughtful design that suits the brands who have commissioned them. A great Cambridge print/digital design company.

I've collaborated on projects with Crocstar for several years now and can highly recommend their editorial services. They're razor sharp editors who keep up the pace of change in web/social and are great fun to work with too.

I always think of Raffingers Stuart as the human face of accountancy! They're plain talking, friendly and really supportive of my business. I would recommend them without hesitation, particularly to small businesses in the Essex and London area.

What I like about Onespacemedia is the way they really get under the skin of their clients, spending time to understand what they really need from their digital presence and offering strategy-driven design and development. But enough buzzwords - in short, their websites look GREAT.

I had dinner at Poets House in the first six weeks after it opened and it was such an enjoyable experience – which began before we even got there as we spent a happy half hour looking at the menus online and salivating at the prospect of all the lovely dishes on offer. The service was exceptional, the design is contemporary but not stuffy, and the food was adventurous and delicious at the same time. It's great that somewhere like Poets House has opened in Ely – although in one way it's a shame, as I live locally so I've got no reason to book a stay and try out the rooms!
