Aadi perukku is on 3rd Aug'15. . Adiperukku is a unique South Indian and specially a Tamil state festival celebrated on the 18th day of the Tamil month of Aadi to thank the Mother Cauvery and other rivers.
In my childhood, we usually go to the banks of the river Tamirabarni in the evening along with friends and families with different variety rices and fryms and have dinner in the moonlight. It was great fun to share our food & love with other families and friends. அந்த நாளும் வந்திடாதோ !!

Loved the video. You made it look very easy. Instructions are very well done in a unhurried manner for a seasoned cook or a new cook to follow. Thank you Mami and DIL. God bless. :-)
