Are you thinking of getting Chromecast, Roku, Fire TV or the Fire TV Stick? As someone who has all these devices, I would personally suggest you get the box (if available from the maker) over the stick because: Faster processor, expandable storage and wired/wireless connectivity.

The Roku is the slowest device of the three but it offered some apps that the Amazon Fire TV stick did not have. The Chromecast did not have apps and required that another device (e.g. tablet, desktop, laptop, etc.) be on in order to work. The new Chromecast is no longer hampered by this problem. My Samsung Smart TV was just too slow and did not have adequate storage or memory.

Anyone watching Preacher on AMC? It's about a once bad boy who becomes a preacher because of promise he made to his dad. His ex running mate/girlfriend is trying to turn him towards his old ways. He has a friend who is a 180 year vampire and he thinks he is possessed by the spirit of god but it actually could be the devil plus there is some the occasional badass fight scene. I'm enjoying it thus far.

The Dominican Republic is known for producing some of the greatest baseball players in history, such as: Albert Pujols, Sammy Sosa, Moisés Alou, Adrián Beltré, José Bautista, Robinson Canó, Bartolo Colón, Vladimir Guerrero, Francisco Liriano, Juan Marichal, Pedro Martínez, David Ortiz and Juan Uribe. This country also has some great surf spots.

Do you want to build your legs? Then you have to squat, squats are the king of leg exercises. You have to do full squats to get the benefits. Here I am at 54, still working on form and depth.

Haiti shares an island with the Dominican Republic, its neighbor to the east and is situated south of North America and north of South America. Though not know for its surfing spots, you can find surfing spots in this country.

I'm a big fan of the author, Elizabeth Moon, I've read all the books (I believe there are 10) that take place in this world. If you like fantasy books (with swords, knights, honor, etc.), with well written characters and interesting stories, then you may enjoy these series of books, I certainly did.

Here's an update to an old classic, leather instead of canvas uppers for the Converse Chuck Taylors®. Over 30 years ago, when I was still in the military, Converse Chuck Taylors®, were my go to shoes.

I like wearing these shoes when I go to the gym. Not a fan of the white toe and sole because they get dirty quickly, but what can you do, that's the Classica Converse Chuck Taylor® look.

Anyone follow this show, Mygrations, on the National Geographic Channel. I find the show fascinating, its a reality survival/endurance show. They selected 20 men and women who walk, with no weapons, accross Africa following the migration of wildebeest.

They must forage for their own food and water and are offered no protection but number of people in the group. So far, they have encountered: elephants, hippos, lions and crocs. This is not a contest, so money is being awarded at the end of the show, just personal satisfaction.
