A massive fire tore through the Grampians national park in Victoria in mid-January, burning huge swathes of countryside and causing residents to flee for their lives. Three thousand sheep were reported killed in the blaze, which also destroyed property. Dramatic footage shows firefighters driving through an area engulfed in flames and smoke on, with sparks flying past the windows of their vehicle.

The uploader provided Storyful with the following information:

“Whilst on asset protection, we were called back to protect the highway as the fire had jumped the road, by the the time we had got there it had already crossed as you can see, so we went on to protect a local holiday village with cabins."
