Best comic book store in Richmond! Huge selection of old and new comics, action figures, and posters. The only issue is the staff isn't very welcoming, but if you go up and ask them they'll help you, you just have to take the initiative.

Great selection if your willing to get dirty as the floor is disgusting and dirty. I agree the blonde short haired associate is by far the rudest unprofessional person I've encountered. The location is pretty sketch lock your doors. On one visit a staff member replied "All new comics are so crappy I don't know why you would buy them". This place needs new mgmt but gauging on how many times I've dealt with rude staff, they don't care. Great product sadly the ownership and staff get a 0 out of 5. Serious collector 20+ years.

When I moved to Richmond, VA last summer I was delighted to find a comic store close. To be fair I spent a lot of time "window shopping" but I did enjoy the selection they had. They have great sales from time to time and if you play your cards right you can pick up a lot of great comics on the cheap.

I spend quite a bit of money in this place and today I was in there and purchased 20 dollars worth of old "Marvel Magazines" (3) and they are just a tad larger than the normal size comics so the bags and backers they have out obviously aren't gonna work for that. I asked if they had the backers and sleeves for the magazine sizes and was handed a pack of 100ct backers and another of 100ct sleeves...LOL...I only needed 2...and as much as I love contributing to the local guys...I am not buying 100 of something I only need 2 of...I kinda felt like with as much money as I spend they could have found a way to accommodate my needs...i get that they dont want 98 of them sitting around either...but i am sure something coulda been done...i do love this place...and the staff are cool people...

I have been going to this store since I was in elementary school love this place went in today to find some stuff. upon entering no greeting two female workers walked by both several times had to stand in front of one and stare at her for her to notice me. although she did answer my question and tell me where I could find the item when I came back with my hands empty I must have been invisible again she did not ask me if I found it or needed more help. I walked around the store another 20 mins or so still no one noticed me I then stood in front of the main comics register and looked at the items behind the counter for awhile. STILL no hello how are you can I help you with something...... worst experience ever in a business. but since I grew up in this store I will be back but I will not be smiling. I use to love going in this store as a child spent hours each week and purchased things. now that im older I would like to get some of my childhood back.... but walking in the store today was a real bummer it ruined the rest of my day.

Well my boyfriend and I walked in looking to see if they had spiderman aparall and we stood there in front of some blonde head chick who straight ignored us so my boyfriend just stopped her in her tracks and asked her about the gear , she then went on to say they do not have t shirts and they would have to be on special order. Not to mention she said that it only comes in a 1x . Now my boyfriend and I are not the smallest people however the shirt wasnt even for us . So not only was the ignorant peon rude she tried to insult , but she didnt even bother to ask who it was for. I feel not only is this place in need of a make over , dusty , and have ingrates working there . They are racist and need to shut down i went in there several years ago and the same disrespectful racist treatment has not changed. Definite Not

No greeting upon entering the store. All employees were busy doing something but were totally ignoring me. No one asked me if I needed help. Customer service is totally lacking..will not recommend this bookstore. Times are tough..management needs to tell their employees its the CUSTOMERS that come first. stop what you are doing and help the customer. I will spend my money elsewhere.
