Two years ago we asked, "Who says the world needs another IPA?" Our answer at the time: "We do." Now, in our 20th year, we (along with Beachwood BBQ and Heretic Brewing Company) STILL do.

We give you, 20th Anniversary Encore Series: Beachwood / Heretic / Stone #StillUnapologetic IPA

Bids for this beer once surpassed $1,200 on eBay. Maybe because we only produced 300 cases. Or maybe because back in 2002 it was THE FIRST bottle in our epic eleven-part, millennium-inspired series. Either way, now it’s back for an encore!

lol, I can only move the equivalent of 22 bottles of beer across the border without declaring it for duties. Choose carefully :D

“I honestly believed we were starting too late to ever make a mark. It was our passion to be a part of the craft brewing revolution.” - Stone Brewing CEO & co-founder Greg Koch

And 20 years later, here we are. #Stone20
Stone has grown from brewing 400 barrels to 325,000 in that time, and it has created more than 30 national collaboration releases with other brewers along the way.

I've been to a few different Stone locations. I started at Stone Richmond and I really loved it. I figured I had to check out the hub of Stone. So I made my way out to Escondido and was blown away. This place is such a cool place to go to for dinner and beers. I adore Stone and I hope to be back in San Diego again so I can come back to this location.

It's Stone, you know there is great beer to be had and you'll find some limited specialty brews. The menu is every bit as good as it reads, even the smoked blue cheese, jalapeno cheese cake with blueberries is outstanding with a great balance of flavors. If you can get there you should and hopefully the hostess will greet you with "you're welcome!" just make a reservation to be sure.

This place was good, we went for a post wedding rehearsal get together...Very beautiful interior...Beer was great, staff was friendly, and the food good. -.5 stars cuz there's no way to tell this is a brewery/restaurant from the street.

This might be the best meal I've ever had. On top of the world class beer and absolutely breathtaking decor, the food was some of the most flavorful, original, and downright delicious food I've had the pleasure to have. Can't recommend this place enough.

I have been waiting a long time to visit this location and it was everything I anticipated, and more. We arrived early for our tour and spent time at the bar with the very knowledgeable staff. The tour was entertaining and informative and the tastings at the end were excellent. The staff were entertaining and easy to talk to. Afterwards we enjoyed dinner in the outdoor dining area which was just delightful. Our server, Cat was extremely helpful and friendly. The food choices were unusual and exceptionally good. We finished the evening with a tour through the beautiful extensively planted gardens. This is an amazing space that I could spend another day enjoying.

A San Diego institution, Stone is largely responsible for bringing the idea of a family-friendly beer garden to the states. The food is good, and the beers are obviously stellar. The grounds and interior are lovely, and the public events a nice touch. The only negative is when the outdoor gardens are closed for private events, which can jam up the remaining space.

$3 for a 30 minute tour. Proceeds go to a charity. Our tour guide was charismatic and funny, and we got a free taster glass with four pours. I didn't eat, but given the awesome environment, I will definitely be back some day!

Absolutely love this place. I love the outdoor patio area, food is also delicious! Always make it a point to stop by here on my way to San Diego. Take the time to do the tour, the brew masters are very knowledgeable.
