St. Joseph’s has undergone many changes and transformations in the past 90 years. However, the essence of St. Joseph’s mission has always remained the same … partnering with Native American children and families to educate for life — mind, body, heart and spirit.

We understand that with growth, there needs to be change, so we are excitedly taking the first steps and embarking on our new strategic plan — Vision 2025 — More than Possible.

Since St. Joseph's students spend their Christmas away from campus visiting friends and family, it has become a tradition to celebrate Christmas with their "St. Joes family" the first Sunday after they return.

Thank you for your generosity and support. YOU are a big reason these kids smile each and every day!

A very belated Merry Christmas from all of us to you.

This is your last chance to show your support for the Lakota children this year: our deadline is MIDNIGHT TONIGHT and we’re just $68,492 away from our goal.

Will you show your support of the Lakota boys and girls and help us meet our goal?

What are some of your favorite things to do during the winter months? Since South Dakota typically receives a lot of snow, our students enjoy sledding, snowball fights and making forts and snowmen!

Today, the temperature at St. Joseph's is 18 degrees Fahrenheit, but it feels like 7! Tomorrow, the high is 9 degrees. How cold (or warm) is it where you live?

Helping Native American youth through residential education, cultural guidance and spiritual awareness.
Introduction
Child poverty and abuse are serious issues on Indian reservations, especially in South Dakota.

By partnering with St. Joseph’s Indian School, you help Native American children realize the hope and promise their future can hold.

At St. Joseph’s, your friendship allows you to help Lakota (Sioux) children in need regain pride in their heritage by learning the Lakota language, studying Native American culture, healing their broken family circle and so much more!
