A fun and friendly pub, with quirky art work on walls and critters in the garden! This pub was an expected find on holiday and when we sat down and looked at the menu we were disappointed to see no vegetarian options. However, when we asked about the omission, 4-5 delicious sounding options were reeled off. The food lived up to all expectations, it was as delicious as it sounded. The portions were generous in size and cooked to perfection. The comfy seating (a big bonus for me) made things even better. As we went back out to the car park, we noticed some fences so had a quick look and discovered a menagerie of ducks, cranes, wallabies, marmoset, goats and meerkats. We couldn't see a few of the others because it was tipping it down, so they hid in their shelters. It was such a lovely, and surprising, end to a delicious meal before getting back in the car to complete our journey. It really is worth going out of your way to find this pub. It is truly one of a kind!
