The Stiegelmeyer team in South Africa is looking forward to the Africa Health exhibition. At the beginning of next week, our colleagues will travel 1,300 kilometers from Cape Town to Johannesburg to welcome visitors from 7 to 9 June (Wednesday to Friday) at the Gallagher Convention Centre. Africa Health is the largest healthcare exhibition on the continent.

The centre of attention is our new Evario, the bed for all hospital units. With its modern split Protega safety sides and the integrated control panels, it sets high standards for safety and ease of operation. For residential care, Stiegelmeyer presents the homelike Venta care bed, and customers from the homecare sector can discover the particularly low-height Burmeier bed Arminia-Low.

Our South African colleagues look forward to all visitors in hall 3, booth 3E20.

Night is falling in broad daylight at the Stiegelmeyer showroom: Our video crew from "life is motion" has spared no effort and effects to let our new hospital bed Evario shine. In the nocturnal dark blue, the illuminated control panel and the under bed light are perfectly visible.

The Evario triggers great interest everywhere. We would like to inform our customers about its advantages with a video. Models took over the roles of the patient and the nurse. They confirmed immediately how comfortable and easy it is to operate the bed. In the coming days, professional narrators will record the texts in German and English. Look forward to the finished video - soon on our YouTube channel!

Burmeier expands its Softcover palette

Dark blue is the new and particularly attractive colour for the Burmeier Softcovers. It brings home a touch of elegance and maritime holiday flair. Softcovers are textile covers for the headboard and safety sides of the care beds Dali II 24 Volt, Dali-Wash, Economic II/III and Arminia III 24 Volt (safety sides only). With these covers, the wood look of the beds can be completely enveloped in colour. This transforms the care bed into a stylish designer element that perfectly matches the decor of the room.

Learn more about the new colours and the adjusted design in our online magazine FORUM:

Today, Burmeier is showing especially beautiful and homelike care beds in the region of Hanover. We are guests at our homecare parter Bertram vital's in-house exhibition in Isernhagen.

You can see the "White Westfalia", an elegant design variant of our model Westfalia-Klassik with a bright Magnolia wood decor, gently curved Lito head and footboards and concealed castors. Equally attractive is the Regia care bed with a split telescopic safety side and a cosy bunk bed on the long side to the wall. And users of the Dali II 24 Volt bed can discover how beautiful and homelike our textile softcovers look.

The important work of all caregivers is honored on today's International Nurses Day in Germany and worldwide. Many hospitals and care homes invite visitors to discuss their work and to arouse the interest of first-time job entrants and young professionals. German State Secretary Karl-Josef Laumann demanded more recognition and appreciation for nurses on behalf of the German Federal Government.

The International Nurses Day on 12 May reminds of the birthday of the English nurse and care pioneer Florence Nightingale (1820 - 1910). It is celebrated this year for the 50th time.

At Stiegelmeyer and Burmeier, our main purpose is to develop products that support caregivers. We sincerely thank all nurses and care staff and look forward to working together to make a positive contribution to the future of nursing care.

Spring is the time of trade fairs for Burmeier. Shortly after the EXPOLIFE, the REHAB trade fair begins in Karlsruhe. Our colleagues are already packing their bags to present the current homecare beds to customers in Baden-Württemberg from Thursday to Saturday (11 - 13 May).

Visitors can discover the new Westfalia IV, a care bed with a scissor-type frame for high standards of comfort, safety and homelike appearance. The machine-washable bed Dali-Wash ensures verifiable hygiene. And our communication system CCS creates a secure connection between residents and carers at the push of a button.

Burmeier awaits you in Hall 1 at booth D46. The REHAB is open on Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. We look forward to inspiring encounters and good conversations.
