Using your local printer, even if you are 3,000-miles away from it, has gotten much easier with these three technologies.

Google Cloud Print works for me, but my needs are limited. From Android phone, Xoom or Linux driven notebook to my Samsung laser connected to my Linux desktop - through Chrome. All the devices share the same Google account. The question though is how often is it actually necessary to print in this day and age of electronic documents?

My main use is more simple. It just enables printing from my Android devices, however rare that need is.
