Thanks for the heads up +Paul Roustan. The museum of holography was simply awesome. This one pic doesn't do it justice. I hope they are able to save all these works of art. I'm looking at you George Lucas. Youre coming to Chicago anyways. Do the right thing! (Wish he could hear me...)

Thank you for pointing me in this direction.  There's a lot of history to the building and the museum (as well as holography), and also the people attached to it.  And these kids out in the west loop who attended are really cool.  Good vibes all around...  Thanks dude.  I'm having someone send some video from her iphone since my phone died.  Will put it up ASAP...

+Gustav Ramirez I'm thoroughly ashamed of myself for my burning need to put Mozart a trailing fourth. It's all great beyond description. I agree it's important to note that Beethoven is better than Moscheles, but there are at least ten towering geniuses in music that exceed Shakespeare, the Parthenon and Titian in the beauty of their compositions. And again, why did I need to state that?

Amazing new Chocolate Shop in the neighborhood. More types of chocolate than I knew were possible. Very friendly and helpful staff there. When you go, try the s'mores! mmm......

Great burgers! Went here on my cheat day and it was completely worth it. The atmosphere is light and fun, and the service also adds to that. Truffle fries are delicious and they give you a few different sauces to try out at different spicy levels. Great spot to stop in when youre hanging out in wicker park.

$10 a month. That's the first thing. Inside, everything is very clean, machines are in great shape. Locker rooms are clean, as well as bathroom. Everyone wipes down after they use machines/benches. No meatheads or flirting going on. Just people working out. Oh, and there's also some free classes as part of the deal. Medicine balls, free weights, etc... I hated and left xsport fitness, because it's basically the opposite of this place. If you're like me, and just want to get in, work out, and leave as quickly as possible, at the cheapest price around, this is the place to do it. Good spot for people who aren't "gym rats". I see regular people walking around without the ego. Also, at least at this location and at the times I go, it's empty enough that you're not waiting on people to finish up ahead of you. Did I mention $10 a month?

I usually go to the Wicker Park location, and honestly I prefer it. It's an interesting history of the building. I heard it used to be a movie theatre back in the day? But the room I did the class in was pretty tiny compared to the wicker park location and I felt kind of cramped. Outside of that, the staff was nice and the bathrooms were clean. I'd go again if there was a 60 minute class here, and not at the other location...

I was looking for a place to have a breakfast meeting along Milwaukee Avenue, and saw that the Savoy moved out and Kanela Club moved in, so, why not give it a try? Had the banana split crepes, some orange juice, and coffee. It was good and the service was friendly, but not too in your face, which I like. Now I don't think the dishes are as fun and crazy as say, Toast, for example. But as a place to have a relaxed breakfast with a relaxed vibe, this would do.

Love this place! I go here for a bit of torture and that feeling of accomplishment you only get from doing yoga in 105f heat. The studio is large and can accomodate lots of people. It's only been once or twice where there were so many people it felt a little cramped, but most of the time there's plenty of elbow room, and the instructors are great. All have different styles and I learn something different from every one. That climb of 2 flights of stairs can look daunting, but that's part of the challenge! lol... The only thing that would make this place perfect is showers. Everything else, top notch.

Just happened to be walking by the other day and stopped in (this is before their grand opening). Always great to meet new businesses in the neighborhood, and St. Lucias was no exception. The two owners chatted me up for a good 20 minutes and I got to meet Ninja, their dog who will be staying at the store from now on. They have all types of glass pipes, hookahs, vaporizers, and what not. And I'm no expert, but the prices looked pretty low. Bought a Hookah for a christmas present (now that's different, huh?), and feel like I can always just drop in and chat if I wanted. That's the kind of vibe there. Happy to see good people with new business here along Western Avenue...
