Hi everyone,

I'm a recent Canon 70D owner and so far I'm loving it. I mostly shoot around NYC using the 18-135mm kit lens or the 50mm f/1.8. Below is one of my recent shots.

Another great Mad Men wrap-up with a lot of history of advertising and culture from Laura Carney. Can't wait to read her mid-season finale post in a few days!

If you're missing Mad Men, Laura Carney has a final episode/mid-season recap up on her blog. It's super full of information and really fun. So bide your time until next year's episodes by reading it.

Our visit to Garden State Honda was about as pleasant as one can be when going through the stressful process of buying a new car. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our sales representative, David Russo, was outstanding. His willingness to help and pleasant demeanor made the several hours it takes to buy a new car go by relatively quickly. And despite a few problems on our end with a trade-in, the process went very smoothly. Follow-up phone calls and a Thank You note came in the days after our purchase, which were little things that we appreciated. The next time we need a car (though it probably won't be for quite a while because Hondas are so reliable—our previous one lasted 17 years) we'll definitely return to Garden State Honda.
