Google just won a major court battle with software giant Oracle over Google’s use of elements of Oracle’s Java programming language. If Google had lost, it could have held major ramifications for the ways in which almost all software is developed. Oh, and Google would have had to cough up $9 billion in damages.

The affected neighborhoods and the city of Brookhaven residents were given zero warning of this action. The reason for the lack of notification was "The deadlines for this deal made public input nearly impossible," according to the mayor of Brookhaven. Beware fellow Brookhaven residents! Next time it could be your home or neighborhood. Please vote out the incumbents at the next election.

Very good latte, similar to major national coffee chains. We drank at a smaller shop on south Franklin, not the big one further northwest. Service was so-so - barista on phone complaining to co-worker about bad working conditions...

Very fun restaurant experience. Live music with old west tunes. Unique décor with graffiti all over, funny signs, odd trinkets, etc. Waitresses dress like wild west damsels. Neat, big souvenir shop. Friendly, fast service. Very good burger and BBQ, small portions for such high prices.

Clerk was rushed. Car was parked opposite side of lot compared to where I was told. They did not tell me how to get out of parking deck so I had to call security to open the gate.

Wonderful view of Denali. Great grassy hill for kids to play. Good restaurant with friendly staff, but slow. Lobby is so nice with beautiful fireplace always roaring. Nice small gift shop with hit or miss espresso drinks. Young, usually friendly staff. Our room did not get cleaned one day. There is reliable free shuttle service every 30 minutes to town, which is 2 miles away. Tiny fitness room with one treadmill, one stair machine, and one hand barbell set. No bench or similar experience equipment. The rooms, bathrooms, and hallway construction are very basic, like a midrange motel, but clean. No pool. Not enough seating outside to enjoy the view. Nice hiking trails with map. Large comfy second lobby area with lots of board games.

Not a good experience for several reasons, mainly the political slant and the unrealistically idealized portrayal of a group of people who sponsor the set up. I am disappointed I had to pay for this.

Good overall. The bar was very cozy with a rustic décor. I'm pretty sure the waiter had to run to the package store across the street to get the beer I ordered - took 15 minutes to get it. Excellent waiter. Clean room, view of cemetery next door. Not much within walking distance. No shuttle service from airport. Breakfast buffet was $21, too expensive. Check-in often had a line. $15 to park, also too expensive give the lack of demand for spaces.

Excellent, friendly, knowledgeable pilot named Stan. Couldn't ask for more regarding the flight to the glacier, the time we spent on the glacier, and the amenities included, such as sunglasses, booties, and storage. Staff was friendly and helpful. Well located right near main street.
