Great time at this afternoon's Landmark Columbus +LEGO build event. Got to build, visit and share LEGO terminology with both children and AFOLs. I look forward to judging the MOCs in a couple of months.

Sure! The most recent version of the talk I give on it is here: http://www.slideshare.net/HecklerMark/moving-renewable-energy-embedded-systems-into-the-cloud

You're welcome to reuse anything there, or if you need any other info, I'll happily give it. :) Off to Europe Monday though, on a really packed work trip, so please let me know soon if you have any questions!

I run Java SE Embedded on a Raspberry Pi in my utility shed, connected to an Arduino via serial/USB. Everything is powered by the RE system itself, which in turn is monitored by the sensors/Arduino/Pi. I call it my self-licking ice cream cone. ;) As part of my demo, I ssh into the Pi, run vnc server, VNC in, and run the Arduino IDE on the Pi to push updated code to the Arduino...from wherever I am at that point. I've pushed updates from Montreal & Stockholm, which is pretty handy (& cool). :D

Loving split view on Android N (I vote for Nonpareil). I have a better experience on my Nexus 6 with Android N on Project Fi than I had with Marshmallow. Excellent beta release. No show stoppers for me.

As an iOS user from it's start, I recently decided to give Android a try. This post shares my thoughts. Would be interested to read of other's thoughts and/or what I am missing.

Pretty good article, good job. On my 6P I get about the same battery life as my wife on an iPhone 6 but she is a heavier user with tons of apps that run in the background.

Hopefully N solves some of the battery issues because most Android devices should get way longer battery life than iOS by volume. But iOS is insanely aggressive about killing background processes and shutting off additional processor cores which is why iOS has gradually gotten less stable and more janky in the past few years.

When we moved to Columbus three years ago, Kramer's became one of our favorite places to enjoy a meal. Comfort food at its finest with one of the friendliest staff around. Prices are right in line with competitors.

Medium crust pizza with fresh ingredients. We enjoyed the lunch buffet which includes salad, breadsticks and pasta. Drink is $2 extra. Small buffet and some problems keeping Pizza available. Not a bad little pizza joint. Very friendly staff.
