Who says you can only use stacking for Star Trails?!  Matt Molloy has been doing some fantastic cloud "Time Stacks". Fortunately lately we've had some great clouds in the normally "blue or fog" environment of the San Francisco Bay.

Imitation... the sincerest form of flattery. I must admit, however, that the first star trail I ever saw done here was my own in June, 2010 (crushed by +Eric Harness 's shot which was way better and taken at the same time. Anyone know of an earlier one?

Couple of questions:
1. Is it possible to set an overall price and then override only specific webinars?  This would help in the case where a webinar is created, but has not yet been priced.
2. Can the webinar date and time information be displayed in the pull down (or along side)?
3. Is it possible to do a list by "groups" or "topic".  May not want to show ALL the webinars as we have some that are private for specific clients.  I'm thinking it could work with a keyword in the title, or a tag in the event description.  E.g. [register_webinar type=list tags_contain=Astrophotography]  or [register_webinar type=list title_has="Star Trail"]

How tags would be placed in the event description is for study, but it could be as simple as  #StarTrail  or  #Astrophotography  in the event description.

4. Overriding a price to $0.00 (free) should also be possible.

Hi Steven,

Great suggestions, thanks for the comment.

1) Not currently, but I will investigate making this happen.
2) Not currently, but we are presently working on making this modification.
3) Interesting idea. We'll have to investigate how that might work.
4) Yes, good point. We have been discussing how best to include free option within Premium version.

Please keep checking the channel for announcements when these features are released or keep your eye on our website.

Thanks and have a good night.

Ooops. The description was incorrect... Here is the CORRECT description.

This is a formation in Alabama Hills, California and features the Milky Way toward the South East.  The left and right sides of the formation were separately light painted and combined into one image - the camera wasn't moved in the process.  The photo was taken before Astronomical Twilight ended which is why it still contains quite a bit of blue.  The orange is from light pollution.

That makes sense now :-)  Still a great shot above though, love the composition, brightness and sharpness of the entire image.

Hello people. What a disappointment. Merrill Lynch has now resulted to telemarketing via cold calling. Somehow they obtained my work phone number which they are not legally required to STOP calling even though they are calling me as an individual and not for business purposes. By the way, they hung up on me when I answered the first time - so clearly they're autodialing, too. Beware!

The aggressively telemarket in violation of Federal Do Not Call laws. My recommendation: 1. Record the date and time of the call and that it was for sales. 2. Request they send you a copy of their Do Not Call Policy (by law they are required to do so). 3. If they don't follow up with that DNC Policy in 30 days... sue them. It's a 500 violation under Federal (and state) law and it's pretty easy to do in Small Claims court.

Researchers and those who take part in e.g. photography workshops will discover that this place is an amazing little world all to its own. No TV, phone, and very, very little internet but it's only 3 miles from Patriarch grove. And I saved the best part for last... Because it is so remote the bunking fee includes 3 meals a day prepared by Tim who is VERY good at preparing tasty meals.

I was in the mood for the yummy CinnaStack pancakes. The CinnaStack was indeed yummy. My wife was not thrilled with her somewhat undercooked, watery poached eggs. And I sampled her hashbrowns and wasn't too impressed with them (I usually order mine extra crispy, however, so it's not clear how much better they would have been had we ordered that way). My wife thought the CinnaStacks were a 'bit too sweet' but she thinks I'm too sweet, too :-) The place was decently clean and service was reasonably fast and friendly. Unlike our experience years ago at the Cupertino location. I'd definitely go again.

It's getting slammed on Yelp. Probably because people have ordered food. A nutella waffle I got once was a good snack for a hungry guy who had missed lunch - but they do very little food business so I can't imagine the quality is going to be high. I go just about every day for their Thai Iced Tea with Pearls (i.e. "Boba" or "tapioca"). Others have complained about watered down powdery drinks - as much of what they serve is indeed created from powdered substances. The Thai tea, however, is something they have premade and dispense out of a large jug with a ladle. Tastes just great to me. Not too sweet not harshly unsweet. Don't go for the atmosphere. It's loud, and not too terribly interesting unless you're a fan of anime or teeny-bopper asian lounge singers.
