First off, congrats on going vegan! It takes some serious strength and knowledge to live this kind of lifestyle. Personally, I have wanted to try it myself for years, but my living situation will not allow for it. A guy can dream, though.

Anyways, if you have a break during your studies, watch Food Inc on Netflix. It's one of the Morgan Spurlock films (SuperSize Me guy), and it paints a very accurate (and very gruesome) picture of the current state of today's food industry. Trust me, it will redefine "gross out". (Again, if I was in another living situation, my fridge would not contain animal parts.)

Hope to see you in person sometime soon!

Just ahem  "acquired" iOS 7 beta 2. A ton of bugs at this point, most notably in the SpringBoard where it won't even show a few of my icons correctly.

Unless you're a developer, STAY AWAY. I cannot stress this enough. It is definitely not ready for mainstream use at this point, so please keep out until all the bugs are fixed.

Yep, Facebook knows what's up. And people are saying this sort of contextual computing is tacky and terrible... Psshhhh.

Just went out and grabbed my copy. Thanks for the reminder, Facebook and Spotify!

Meh.  Cramming ads into your feed is tacky.  At least when Twitter does it they admit it.

During this, the week before college finals, we take a moment to notice the subtle things in life.

Came across this on Reddit. Stuff like this keeps me going everyday toward that college degree. Only two years left!

EDIT: Looks a little big. Here's a direct link:

Story
Tagline
I study computer science at a private university. And I take photos. Lots of photos.
Introduction

I'd like to think of myself as a bit of a mad scientist. Not the Frankenstein type, but as a person who loves to experiment and try new ideas and mediums. Many of my endeavors were far ahead of my peers back in high school for years at a time. Now that I'm in college, my reach is limitless.

I tend to post about all sorts of things. From photos I've taken to the latest new concept in technology, I post a variety of it all. Any photos I've posted on here contains licensing information in the metadata, as well as the photo description page. (Also, on a side note, I'm hoping for a Google Plus API.)

So anyways, thanks for finding me. Now go get inspired to become great and powerful.

Bragging rights
I got to meet a bunch of people from the WA House of Representatives once. Also, I've shaken hands with the director of the National Park service.
