You can’t sell if you don’t communicate. Get out of the jargon and say it simply!

This quote, after a breakfast Clarity Therapy session with a friend, is why I love my work:
"It has taken me almost a year to understand the best career direction I should pursue - and it took you about an hour!"

Absolutely brilliant. This blog author ought to get a book contract and a 7-figure talk show hosting deal. Or, maybe a box of Junior Mints. That's almost as good...

You need to figure out your sweet spot, your customer, your differentiated offering – then you create your messaging and marketing, based on your unique “fit.” What’s your market[place]?

I'm really liking Canva - simple and useful for bloggers especially.

A really cool place to create images!
I just been playing with of features on +Canva and it is really easy to use, and takes images up a notch or two too. It's a huge app so expect to kiss some time goodbye :P Here is the link: www.canva.com
(everything I am doing is 'free' but there are paid options...)

How's your "jargon-filter"? If it's not active, you might not be communicating!

If you're in a job transition, it's a good idea to define your ideal role/company - the "bullseye" to make your search more targeted:

I am reading this now.  I love Jay, he is always very pragmatic.  I am also redoing my site.  CLARITY is important and I am converting over to Wordpress.  Mobile is priority one.

Most people are not your customers.  So - what's your market[place]? Consider these 4 dimensions:
