My new blog about how to use psychology to make your marketing more influential.
Dr. Robert Cialdini studied “influence professions” such as doctors, lawyers, teachers and police officers. More specifically he studied how they were trained to persuade and influence people. He discovered 6 universal principles of influence that applied to all professions. The tactics people use to influence others are virtually infinite, but they all boil down to these six principles of influence. What I found most interesting is that th...

Nice set of strategies for aspiring social media managers!
Social Media Managers continue to be a hot commodity in the job market. I started my own career as a social media manager for an recording artist management company in 2009. Since then I’ve worked as a social media manager for 3 different agencies...

Since 2001 TechWyse has grown a lot, including our organizational structure which has evolved to become more efficient. We find that we talk about this a lot to prospects, clients and even vendors.  So I thought it would be a good idea to put this into a blog all on its own. If you’re considering working with us, this should give you a pretty good overview of how we work. Below I’ve broken down the grouped the major departments we currently op...

Kudos to the team at TechWyse for building a tool that scans your site for lorem ipsum and other dummy text.
Have you ever launched a website only to later notice that you've left dummy text somewhere on a remote page? This tool is designed to save you from having to go through that moment again!

I learn something every time I visit Bay Bloor Radio! Most recently, I bought a Yahama kitchen stereo that I absolutely love and have bought headphones and a 5.1 home audio system from BBR in the past. Their stuff is all high quality and their staff know a lot about every item they stock. The staff are passionate people who really do their best to make sure you're happy with your purchase. Highly recommend them! BBR is THE place to buy audio/video equipment in Toronto.

Had a great car buying experience here. No pressure tactics whatsoever. Our salesperson Karen took the time to assess our needs before showing us a car. She recommended a Corolla and we couldn't be happier with our choice. If you're looking for a first-rate service and responsive and pleasant staff go to Ken Shaw Toyota!

Great family-run business! I've since moved away, but have never stopped going back! The Golden Beef is, i'm told, their most popular dish and for good reason, it's out of this world! The spice of the sauce is just right, the beef is tender and the portion is huge! all for about $10 w/tax. You can easily stretch this into two meals. I work close to this place now and i've got the entire office hooked! Their prices have gone up in recent years, but i'm certain that's only to do with increased prices for supplies. the pad thai, and bamboo shoot soup are also two other faves, love this place!

the veal has gone up 50cents over the last year, but for $6.50 i dare you to do any better. this is my favourite veal sandwich in the city, with Moustachios at St. Lawrence Market a distant second. One half of the sandwich comes drenched in tomato sauce, while the other is left dry for your hands to grip. Also, their Kalamata olives are awesome. it's cash only, but it only adds to the charm!
