Panasonic has significantly expanded its range of 4K TVs, introducing curved models for the first time alongside UHD flatscreens, and established at top tier of 4K Pro models. The latter feature a new Reference grade processor capable of 1024 steps of gradation and advanced colour management. A newly developed 3D Lookup Table boasts 8000 registry points, which the company  says enables professional-grade colour accuracy.

Ruark Audio is to launch a new iteration of its R2 stereo system with multiroom functionality. Unlike rival multi-zone solutions, the R2 will offer set-up and playback control on the device itself, via its high contrast OLED display. The British Hi-Fi company will also release an app for iOS and Android devices which will allow multiple R2s to be remotely controlled across the network.

British loudspeaker manufacturer PMC has added a subwoofer to its twenty series range of residential loudspeakers. The model, designed for both hi-fi and home cinema use, was previewed at the Sound & Vision Bristol Show.  It features the brand’s ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) bass loading technology, coupled to 400 watts of Class-D amplification under DSP control.
