Join us on June 5th 1PM EST (6pm BST) for +Collectors Hangout where myself and +David Mapes shall be talking to +Domingo Rogers about 1980s toys!  My brother and I shall be joining live from my dining room better known as "The 80s room" or "Your childhood" as I like to refer to it when I have guests over of my age group.

It's a pleasure and honour to be asked back on Collectors Hangout to share some not only our love of collecting and action figures, but also to share some person tales and stories.  So please join us.

My brother has just put the finishing touches to our latest #Visionaries article over on The Visionaries.net. The article, which is titled "Reekon's Staff" covers 3 concept designs as well as an image of the version that made it all of the way into pre-production where it was photographed for some of the initial marketing shots.

One of Reekon's planned staff designs would go on to become #Witterquicks final staff design.

The excellent Richard Newman is heading over to the UK next August for +TFNation in what shall be his first ever UK show!

Operation: Beast Wars

We are honoured to announce TFNation 2016 will see the first ever UK Transformers convention appearance of Richard Newman, who will be helping us to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Beast Wars and the 10th Anniversary of Transformers: Cybertron!

To Transformers fans, Richard is best known as Rhinox – the flower-sniffing, “Chainguns of Doom”-toting, Predacon-smacking Maximal from the Beast Wars era; a role he would later revisit in the twisted form of Tankor during the Beast Machines series.

Richard’s Transformers credentials do not end there, as he was also responsible for voicing Transformers: Cybertron’s time and space guardian, Vector Prime.

Outside of Transformers, Richard has amassed a huge resume of impressive acting work both behind the mic and on screen. Some of his many roles include; Grandfather in Pingu, Governor-General Phaeton in Exosquad; Iron Klaw from G.I. Joe Extreme; Tōtōsai from InuYasha; Cranky Doodle Donkey from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic; Rattlor, The Faceless One, Lord Dactys and many others from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2002); Toadborg from Bucky O’Hare and the Toad Wars and the unforgettable M. Bison from Street Fighter: The Animated Series (YES! YES!). In 2011 his performance as Shylock in The Merchant of Venice led to a Jessie Award nomination for “Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, Large Theatre”.

Richard will be signing autographs and taking part in panels during our inaugural convention, which will run from Friday 19th and Sunday 21st August 2016.

Further transmissions to follow.

Micronauts is one of the properties Hasbro Inc are bringing back as a part of their expanded franchise universe but did you know that Micronauts has been in the plans for a return for over ten years?  Hasbro bought the IP rights to Micronauts from it's creates AGE Inc (with whom they license Visionaries from) and work began on relaunching the property.  Before he worked on Star Trek, J.J. Abraham's was tied to the property to make a new feature film.

Kinnect Underground were contracted to work on various concepts for the brand which includes artwork and toy prototypes both of which you can see in the linked album.

I do not own any of these, the images are available publicly but have often been missed.

We were fortunate enough to be interviews by Maz for a +TFsource - Toy Store Collectors interview. Why not check it out
http://tfsource.com/blog/collector-interview-43-david-steve-mapes/
The Mapes twins, known throughout the global Transformers community, have built a Transformers museum. Not content with the regular 12 to 15 photos used in our collector interviews, David and Steve's collection requires a full complement of 36 images for us to properly appreciate the scale of ...
