+Steve Kondik, I know u're all doing ur work at the full potential to get ur hard work out to users. But there r some bugs in the first release. Jira is somehow complicated for me, so I'll post them here for ur quick review.
1. Volume too low at lower steps (below 12).
2. Editing a particular theme reset all the preference of the per app theme. Thats kinda annoying.
3. Major, Google Play Services No. 1 battery hogger.
4. Why u guys r still stuck at kernel version 3.4.67 when 3.4.100+ is already out. Won't u like to give extra tweaks to us like we get in custom Kernels.
5. MaxxAudio not working as intended. Need quite a few reboot(s) sometimes to get it work.
6. Contacts not sequenced properly. It's the bug from CM12 nightlies too and em afraid if its going to get fixed or not. (Sometimes they behave normally but this sometimes is fuckin rear).

OnePlus users now have two Lollipops to choose from, though this one will arrive via an over-the-air update. Android users the world over were treated to quite the change of pace last year when the folks from the newly formed Cyanogen Inc. and a spinoff from Oppo launched a new high-end phone with a mid-range price tag. One of the many questions to come from the launch of the OnePlus...

Wow Steve. Been literally working with you and jesusfreak since the G1 days.  Your new CEO is a gigantic asshole. What in gods name were you thinking. I am a Oneplus owner. Your and your so called company's behavior is deplorable and your CEO telling me and others to "calm the fuck down"? Are you kidding? I have lost all respect for you and your broken cyanogenmod. Oh and tell your CEO to go eat a dick!

Antutu Video Tester

This is a gnarly app that will wreck your phone's media stack, and possibly crash your phone. Its a nasty sequence of video clips that will test how well lots of different video+audio combinations work on your Android device. The test covers everything from 4K H265 to 24-bit FLAC, to FLV, and everything in between.

CM12 (on most devices) gets a perfect score! CM11 not so much :)

We're taking full advantage of all the new A/V capabilities in L, and we brought in FFMPEG to fill the gaps. Some of these are pretty obscure combinations that you'd never see in the wild, though.  No reason for not being comprehensive!  Hours of sleep? None.

What's your score? (be sure to include your device name and ROM)

+Steve Kondik Updated with today's build and the issue persist. Eventually videos stop playing and start buffering endlessly with occasional audio playback for a splitsecond.

Another thing, voice messages on whatsapp are low quality compared to other devices. Is it an app issue or can this be fixed on the rom side? Never had this issue with my Nexus 5 and CM11.

The OSS side of what we do is something I'm deeply passionate about, and it's time to get even more serious about it. Hit us up.

...and please don't shit this up about OTAs, we're literally just waiting for the +2 on certification :)

I use TrashOs err.. I mean OxygenOS but it's not the same as Cyanogenmod. Not many things to customize etc. I hope that CM 12S will be released soon. Is there any preview of how cm 12s will look?

Stepping it up again :)

Super excited that I get to talk about this now! This is how Open Source should work - sharing and contributing ideas and software back and forth, working towards bettering the ecosystem as a whole.

Best part is that those devices sold to consumers using the QRD base and software instantly gain the benefit of all the community involvement in CM and Cyanogen alike.

CAF is a well known figure in the Android ROM circles, and now we have a way to not only influence design of a large platform, but to also serve as an amplifier to how far a community driven feature can go.

This goes beyond forums, pages and communities - this has the potential to shape hundreds of millions of user's experiences with Android.
