Your challenge is to determine in which direction the bus is heading.

Clue: This is of course an American school bus.

Because a quickly kit-bashed Scheme with C-ish syntax decorations runs in the one VM everyone has.
Well, my anonymous friend. My short answer would be, you shouldn't. At least, you shouldn't specifically learn Node.js. You should learn JavaScript. I mean real JavaScript. Not JavaScript, that little toy language you've used for click handlers and the occasional HTTP request, but JavaScript, ...

Oh ho! This promises to be tons of fun.

"We are greatly concerned that the EU commission is reaching out to tax income that no member state has the right to tax under internationally accepted standards.

"The mere fact that the US system has left these amounts untaxed until repatriated, does not provide under international tax standards a right for another jurisdiction to tax those amounts."
A senior US Treasury official questioned the "basic fairness" of EU investigations into tax deals struck by American companies.

Not an expert, but haven't these companies, been earning trillions, sending the revenue from their US and EU profits. To the Caymans, Seychelles, so we can understand that their lickspittles, would want to thwart, them having to pay the same rate of tax as your local delicatessen. Or you as a middle class, or working poor, we're special, we're oligarchy, we shouldn't have to pay taxes. States in Europe banding together, to prevent most of the profits, appearing to come from Lichtenstein. Why the very idea, it's as ridiculous as say clean energy disrupting, big carbon's trillions in subsidies. They have, get this, a god given right, to subsidies to pay for lobyests, to get them yet more subsidies, as they would say yay rent seeking. Yay to the global robber barons, the kleptocracy, the slum lords, we mustn't let people know, how much people in the developing world have gained. During the developed world's 40 year Great Stagnation, as they siphoned off the majorities gains of 4 decades, of technological advances..

The vast majority of the world's population, got it's gains, but not the developed world. Poverty barely reduced at all, in some places, it got horrifically worse. Here comes the 3rd industrial revolution, it will be hard for them to suppress, the benefits to the majority. The massive reduction in expenses, the massive increases in income. Imagine their horror at the idea of the middle class, regaining control of the media and politics, democracy and the press, would function again. Worst of all, free enterprise and social justice would come into vogue. A hated idea, amongst the slave owning classes, no this outrageous fair trade, must be nipped in the bud, immediately. We are their betters, we should have a guarantee of wealth, it is after all, the divine right of kings to rule over our serfs. To keep them in bondage, us paying for European social justice, no, no, no.

This has been an unpaid rant, by another person, who can't take on the masters, of the working poor. I know what your saying, it's unfair for the majority, to get tax cuts, lower expenses, more services, so let's use our oligarchy. To create a ludicrous war, the Russians, the Chinese, any one will do. Imagine a king calling his lords, to discuss rule over the peasants, how is that different from the Koch brothers calling get this. All of the Republican presidential candidates, to their Park Avenue palace, in New York, to give them their orders, they didn't even have to hide it, the captive press, were so obedient. Sorry big rant, having some fun.

#fitfriday Check-In  -

For this week's #fitfriday, I shall still be cycling to work, despite winds gusting up to 50mph -- though the Met Office assures me the gusts will be down to just below 40mph by the time I have to cycle home into the wind.
