The ethics of modern web ad-blocking. August 11, 2015 • ∞http://www.marco.org/2015/08/11/ad-blocking-ethics. More than fifteen years ago, in response to decreasing ad rates and banner blindness, web advertisers and publishers adopted pop-up ads. People hated pop-up ads.

Encryption allows us to control our digital lives by protecting us from people we don't want to read, view, or copy our stuff, like hackers and governments looking to bypass legal process.

We want everyone to know about the benefits of encryption. Share this graphic and help spread the word.

Horrible place. $$$$$$ First they push everything off on to the costumer, meaning all scheduling and remembering of prescripts, appointments, everything is push onto the costumer. "Give us a call at 4:30 to find out how your pet is doing.", not the expected "We'll call you as soon as surgery is over to let you know how your pet is doing.". Be prepared to remind the vet/surgeon of everything. They don't seem to take notes of what they told you during the appointments. And be prepared to call to remind them to call you back to schedule anything. Every time you come in you're asked to fill out forms explaining why you are there and what medication they put your pet on. For whatever reason they don't seem to have that on hand. As well as remind them of what the vet said at the previous visit. Also super expensive. DO NOT accept what they quote you as the final cost. They will quote you a low number, then when you meet with the vet/surgeon they will increase the quote by 1k. Then they will tack on additional charges after the surgery. I went in with a quote of $2,500. I've now paid over $4,000 and they are still trying to bill me for follow up check ups.

Horrible Walmart. Don't bother trying to call in no one will answer. The store is a mess. And when ever they don't have something in stock they will tell you "Oh we're getting a truck tonight, we should be getting more tonight.". But it won't and you'll just get the same answer repeatedly.
