Microsoft is getting increasingly persistent about the #Windows10 upgrade. Today this message covered my whole screen and resisted my efforts to make it go away. Here's what I did about it.
Microsoft's Windows 10 has been hanging over my head like the Sword of Damocles. I finally went for it, and lived to tell the tale.

When we think of #interfaces these days we tend to think of software, but the world is a lot bigger than that.
Some of the greatest innovations relied on great interfaces. Here’s a list of our favorites.

I'm honored to be counted as a Twitter #influencer with the likes of +Rand Fishkin, +Rebekah Radice and +Bill Gates. Actually: Honored, humbled, and wondering how strongly my "great haircut" was weighed in the criteria.
We believe one of the best ways to spread your brand and become a voice in your niche is by engaging with influencers. Influencers come in many shapes and sizes, from heavily networked and large sc…

Now it's special to not have a #smartphone .

"Smartphones were once scarce and accessible only to the elite," Gardner added. "Now, they're mainstream and have become, not a signal of power, but instead a sign that you're a corporate drone who's tethered to their job and email 24x7. Reverting to a flip phone—or NO phone at all—subtly tells the world that you report to nobody. You are the boss."
Smartphone sales have stalled; guess what consumers are buying instead. Retro is cool again.

Great question +Janette Speyer. The #iPod is #9 on the list, but the editors missed some printing biggies.

They included 3D and inkjet printers, but missed the printing press - and even missed the laser printer! Big oops there.
