Introduction
I am the Director of Student Media at the Manship School of Mass Communication at Louisiana State University. I spent my first year at LSU, 2014-15, as Lamar Family Visiting Scholar. Before coming to LSU, I was Digital Transformation Editor at Digital First Media. I was Director of Community Engagement for TBD. I have worked as an editor, reporter, writing coach, consultant for seven newspapers and the American Press Institute. I have pursued my journalism career in 44 states, nine Canadian provinces, Ecuador, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Siberia and Venezuela.
