Gee, who could have ever seen this coming?

"The San Mateo resident is reveling in the role of unofficial ambassador of Glass, and some in the tech community have lauded her for the unapologetic embrace of the new technology. But others have saddled her with a moniker that Google is fighting hard to minimize: the "Glasshole.""
When a woman at the bar told Slocum, "You're killing the city," a reference to a larger backlash against tech workers in San Francisco, Slocum announced that she wanted to "get this white trash on tape." The San Mateo resident is reveling in the role of unofficial ambassador of Glass, and some in the tech community have lauded her for the unapologetic embrace of the new technology. Slocum even asked Google to fly her to the popular South by Sou...

So we're outraged by nearly fully clothed women on comic covers now too just b/c their boobs are big? Screw it, just draw what you want.

Bryan Singer caught playing tickle me elmo. If you're one of the "Woody Allen is definitely guilty" people from a couple months ago, make sure you have the same reaction here:
A lawsuit filed Wednesday alleges the director of X-Men: Days of Future Past and Superman Returns gave the 17-year-old alcohol and drugs and raped him.

Here, here. If we're going to boycott one director who makes clever, thoughtful films for grown ups on the grounds of overwhelming suspicion and a near palpable ickiness, then we should apply the same to this suspected villain who makes vapid, violent, punch n' shoot movies for little boys.

Just realized I might be  such a huge Kevin Bacon fan because he's named after bacon.

Right now we're focusing on Facebook and the official website which I'm almost done with. I will be using g+ to promote but I have to teach them how to use the site, I've found it's not as intuitive for a lot of my clients as FB is, although I personally think the multimedia integration is better here than FB

Just to clarify when they say safety is "paramount" they mean "silly nonsense".

Productive day of animation tests for The Call's animated trailer, and have a small studio lined up for a good price for voiceover work. Decide to go more literal than usually would be done in this situation and keep the wind lines from the comic for the animated stuff.

The specific affectations of the smug "fake conservative news person" delivery always seemed directly taken from Hartman's character.

Introduction
Comics - artist (illustration and digital painting), writer, I do two webcomics currently and am working on a print one.

I'm mainly a web designer, living in San Diego. Originally from the Bay Area - it's way more boring down here but I can't leave because the weather is amazing.

Spend most days listening to music compulsively while building websites.  I work on my webcomics, 'Future Kings' and 'The Call' in my free time.   Love drawing and writing comic books, and  I also read them whenever possible. Favorite comic artists right now include Goran Parlov, John Romita Jr., Mignola, Rafael Grampa, and Paul Pope. Really too many greats to mention though.

Got rid of cable 7 years ago when I realized there were TV shows about things like housewives arguing, but I do love Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad (which I really think is one of the best-made shows ever).

In the pursuit of improved art I don't play video games too much anymore, but Metal Gear Solid is my favorite franchise, followed by Uncharted.
Bragging rights
I have successfully avoided both political correctness and Jersey Shore. Write, paint and letter my own webcomic on a pretty regular schedule. 40+ pages in so far.
