Any game dev hopefuls in the Ogden area? I'm looking for some artists, or anyone really. But especially artists, who can devote some real time to a small start up game dev studio.

has anyone here formed a game dev llc? I'm forming one for my senior project and would love to get some mentoring from someone who's already done it.

so new question: I'm in the EAE program at the University of Utah and as the producer on my senior team I'm in charge of creating a registered LLC. and publishing our game, but I'm not a business student and I have no idea how to write things like an operations contract or a terms of use policy, but that's what I'm being asked to do. Does anyone have any info or links to resources where I can figure that sort of stuff out?

Here you go. This video skips all the boring standing around bits while still keeping the terrible camera angles!

Ah!  That makes sense :)

GIven that Brendon had that working in 2013, it's a bit disappointing that we haven't seen it in the app yet.  Presumably there were some ugly corner-cases that he wanted to solve.

Here's a fun question. My senior group project is to develop and publish a game we've been working on and it's been recommended/required that we register as a business to publish. I've never taken any business classes and while I've done some Google level research I'd love to hear your input or advice on the subject if you have any experience with this issue. What type of business should I register as? We're just an 11 person team of student that don't expect to work together after this. Where do I go in the state of Utah to register? We all live in different cities/counties so I don't think I should go to my city hall to register. What dangers await? That sort of thing.

I won't say it's the best feeling, but it's pretty nice to go to sleep with +BettyJo Anderson in my arms and wake up with Goomba in my arms.

My wife surprised me with a stay at the chateaux for my graduation. But we didn't really stay long enough to enjoy everything they have to offer. Room was nice. Really like the gas fire place

Great prices on most grocery goods. And their deli makes some tasty sandwich meats
