Nice postcard. I appreciate your warning me about "the hype," but I'd have to argue that the hype exists because it's warranted. Additionally, I'd have to argue that your comparisons in this postcard don't mean much to your customers. We're probably going to leave you regardless.
Just to humor you, let's address some of the points you try to convey in your mailer. The fastest in-home WiFi
I'm pretty sure my OnHub router will be faster than any piece of junk you provide.9X more FREE TV shows and movies On Demand
I don't even pay you for TV because I'm a cord cutter, mostly because I hate paying you for TV I won't watch.DVR recordings to go
Again, I'm a cord cutter. I just pay services such as HBO Now, Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.X1 voice remote
Yeah, no one cares. Some other items omittedCustomer service and account management:
Forget about the fact that I still can't seem to remove my old address as the primary address from my account.
I can't even change my password without having to talk to one of your reps, and that's after filling out a captcha just so you can give me a phone number and a chat link. I would rather never log into my account again than have to talk to one of your support reps. In fact, the only time I ever want to talk to you is to cancel and tell you that I'm switching to Google Fiber. Repeatedly. For one hour. Just so you know how it feels to have your time wasted.Pricing:
$70/month for 1gbps, and no data caps? Yes, please. And you want to charge me how much for 2gbps? $300 a month? And that's just for the internet, right? And what about your data caps?
Here's the truth, Comcast. Nobody, and I mean nobody, likes you. In fact, everyone hates
you. We were never friends with you. We just wanted what you had, and you were the only person who had it, but we really just hate you.
So all of that to tell you that it's you, not us. We're not stupid. We're not fooled by hype. We just hate you. A lot. I mean, there's a reason why Google became (briefly) the most valuable company in the world and why you're among the most hated companies in the US.
So when Google Fiber becomes widely available, we'll be abandoning you, and we'll be celebrating it, too.#fiberiscoming #googlefiber
