Adobe just released Lightroom 4 and cut its price by half to $149. (Upgrades $79.) New stuff: better editing controls (vastly better I've concluded after extensive use of the beta), basic video editing (including the ability to sync tone and white balance from still shots), geotagging (with Google Maps interface), book publishing, and new DNG features.
Version 4 of the photo editing and cataloging software drops to $149 as Adobe adds new video and editing features. Read this blog post by Stephen Shankland on Deep Tech.

So far I'm very happy with the better performance over the beta, too. It's a lot snappier.
