READ ABOUT MY LIFE HISTRY
AND DISCOVER THE POWER OF GOD
WRITTEN BY: MOONGA STEPHEN
27th December, 2013
My names are STEPHEN MOONGA born on 23th September,1987 in Mumbwa District-Zambia.
We are two in the family, I and my sister BARBARA MWANZA Different father but same mother. Our father Mr WEBSTER MOONGA and mother IREEN MWANZA, they all died in the period between 1993 and 1995. My father died while was a teacher at Shimbizhi High School in Mumbwa District. Firstly we separated with my sister at my premature age.
This was after my mother and father got divorced. My sister went with my mother's family and I was also picked by my father's family. I really do not know what happened for I was too young to understand.
There after I was being looked after by my grand father Mr MOONGA STEPHEN who also died after serving as a School Head teacher at Sesheke Secondary School-Zambia. After my grandfather died, other concerned relatives took over the responsibility of looking after me. It was really a tense time of living to me
Unfortunately, in the year 1998 I was bitten by an old poisonous Cobra snake in central province Chisamba-Zambia on my right leg.
From that time we moved to different Hospitals including Kabwe General Hospital. The situation was so serious, it took both
Doctors and tradition healers. By then, NO one had even a single hope to say one day I would stand on my two legs and start walking but according to what happened, it clearly showed that GOD has his own plans and He is the owner of the nature and nature obeys GOD. I lived a hospital life for FOUR (4) solid years.
I stopped walking on my two legs in 2000 and began learning how to walk like a small baby in 2003 for almost a year to get used.
In Gods grace, I had a hope to say; one day, I would be able to stand and walk on my two legs and get back to school which I earlier started at Nursery level. And walking to me was a prayer answered.
After my improvement on walking, I had to trouble my relatives to get to school for it was my dream even in great pain I went through.
Even in pain, I used to study and learn. Then, in 2004, one of my uncles, Mr Richard Hakuche, took me to a primary school.
Chamuka Basic School Chisamba District of central province Zambia was the first school I was taken to. At this school, people looked at me like someone comes on transfer from a certain school. This was due to the courage I had even in pain of getting to school some days. Some teachers and the head teacher, Mr Maundu knew my situation.
On this pre schooling, transport was a major problem. The distance from the place I used to live called Nsesha village was too long to me according to the situation I had. A certain uncles named, Mr. Titus Sibanda come in arrangement of me to have at least a bicycle to mobilize my movement and it was successful. Though it wasn't enough, another concerned brother in Christ a male Nurse Mr Kennedy Sambambi who became strong and reliable pillar in my schooling. He unselfishly, helped me both physically and financially. He always wanted and always want to see me reach at the best of my success level in life.
may God bless whatever he touches in a special way
