Qualtrics  -

One of the videos you're asked to watch this week is the Qualtrics Advanced Survey Editing training. Let's discuss in the comments below:
Which feature is your favorite?
Which feature do you still have questions about?
How have you used any of these features?

Here's the recording of today's session. I'm afraid we may have gone to deep on some advanced questions, but hopefully you'll find it useful.

Who are you?  -

I'm an IT guy at the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension and part of the Network Literacy Community of Practice. While my interests tend to the technical side of things, I have an interest in education, program development, and evaluation. I  guess I tend to focus on those areas primarily where they intersect and can be facilitated by technology.

I've been using #qualtrics  for a couple of years, and have been impressed by its capabilities, while sometimes finding it complicated. In the upcoming informal learning session, I hope to learn some new things and share what I've learned about Qualtrics.

Outside of work, most of my time centers on my wife and three boys. You'll often find me coaching multiple teams, and loving every minute of it!

As we get started with the informal Qualtrics learning session, please take a moment to introduce (or re-introduce) yourself to the community.

As we go along, please share your surveys here to receive feedback, ask for help, tell what you've learned, etc.

Thanks for the feedback. I've had a few more submissions after I sent a reminder. A couple sent me emails with questions and clarifications.John Baggott

This course will cover the basic elements of designing and evaluating questionnaires. We will review the process of responding to questions, challenges and options for asking questions about behavioral frequencies, practical techniques for evaluating questions, mode specific questionnaire characteristics, and review methods of standardized and conversational interviewing.

Qualtrics  -

This Qualtrics help article talks about both redirecting a user to a second survey (URL) and scrubbing personal data from survey results.
Introduction. While the default end-of-survey experience can be easily changed in Survey Options, sometimes you'll want a different experience for different participants. For instance, if a participant indicates they don't purchase your product, you might want to end the survey early and display ...

Proposal submitted

Thanks to incredible help from the community, I just submitted a proposal for the Network Literacy Leadership Academy to eXtension as part of the Innovative Projects RFP.

This was a truly collaborative effort - more than a dozen people directly edited the proposal and we shared over 100 comments as we worked on it. I look forward to the project getting funded and gathering additional contributions form the community as the team makes the Academy a reality.

UNH recently purchased access to the offline survey feature in Qualtrics. We're looking forward to using it at events and possibly field research to gather information when we don't have an Internet connection.

Does anyone have experience using this feature? Are there issues or lessons learned you could share?

+Alda Norris - It has worked well the handful of times we have used it. The surveys can't have some triggers and you definitely want to make sure it's mobile-compatible. The biggest challenge is getting people used to signing in that way, instead of paper, and it's more difficult to have multiple sign in sheets.

Fish tacos were great. Inexpensive and informal, just the way I like it.

Traveling cross country and needed rear shocks replaced. Everyone was polite, helpful, and professional. I'd highly recommend.

Can't say enough good! Our refrigerator died, and when I called Scott, he said he thought it might be under a Maytag recall. He offered to come out and put in a part temporarily until we could get the part from Maytag. Maytag said it would be seven to ten days! Luckily, Scott had the part on hand, and was able to replace it under the recall workorder. He was pleasant, professional, and helpful, and I will be recommending him to friends.

Stayed here on route to Seattle from Yellowstone. Seems like a newer facility with excellent sites and hookups. Sites are gravel, with a concrete patio and grass buffer. Some shade trees, though not fully mature yet. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry were clean and up to date. Less expensive than any KOA I've stayed at. Would definitely stay here again!
