Crazy about elephants especially Bambino's

Baby Elephant drinking. When they are this young, they don’t yet know how to use their trunks to drink water.

Is it just my install or what? I installed the new Google Camera on my #nexus5  but there doesn't appear to be a video feature ... Call me perplexed. #Google

Be nice to get English translations for these too! Good job on the Syrian feed!

I've never used Bitcoin or it's derivatives but it fascinates me - I do believe we need some form of international currency that's not manipulated by States and/or currency traders though. Not sure if Bitcoin is it however.
Movements for economic justice and equality are rarely flush with cash. But "cryptocurrencies" like Bitcoin might stand to change the rules in their favor.

Feel good story!
The two kittens, named Mouse and Wifi, were somehow accidentally packed with fiberglass equipment.

So regrettable - I'm actually on Russia's side on this and do agree that the present Ukrainian govt is pretty much neocon/nationalist. Sad - be nice if we all could get along.

And it's a Number 1 seller!
If you call rigorous economic research on inequality a Communist plot, will it go away?

Introduction
Guess yours truly is turning into an activist of sorts (gawd I hate that word).
I'm concerned where the world is heading with this so called "War on Terror" and what is happening in the middle-east, especially in Syria. Therefore a large percentage of my posts will be related to this, additionally am very concerned about the surveillance state and my own CSIS and CSEC spying. Guaranteed privacy is a fundamental civil right as far as I'm concerned.

So, some posts will be provocative - If you don't agree with me - that's fine. Lets not argue, but look at the facts and let's discuss rationally. Thanks!

Really depends who is on staff. Basic Sports Bar, seen one seen them all. Update: August 2013 It's starting to deteriorate - staff (bar staff anyways) seem disinterested, and the competition around seems to be strangling them.

We sat outside on the patio on a humid sunny afternoon, only had drinks. The service wasn't too bad. Next time I'll try some food. Like the other reviewer indicated, the view is spectacular (Inside and out). Only drawback is one must drink the house beer -- none other available. _Update_ I've had the fish & chips twice. Good portion of fish with the batter light and crispy. Nice to see that there is more fish than batter - can't say that for most fish n chips meals. Staff is friendly - some overdo the youngish lingo which doesn't go over well with this close to senior person. After giving the order I don't need to hear "Awesome", rather very good or the usual english will do, thank-you very much. LOL Pricing is quite reasonable - actually with the view I was pleasantly surprised at the costing.

Downtown store is now on Bloor St. West. I've bought a few electronic goods from them. Pretty satisfied as the price point is good. Most of the time the stuff is refurbished, but they do have new too. Prefer to buy local whenever possible.
