+Stephanie Jackson . You are always up to something. As you mention acoustics, I have attended a few events where that was a problem. I will never go back to the Atlanta civic center for the same reason.

Completely fascinating! Until I lived in Jordan a couple years ago, I wasn't much informed on the Middle East. Not that I know much now, but I am certainly more interested!
These maps are crucial for understanding the region's history, its present, and some of the most important stories there today.

Germany pops up again, with more evidence of being a desirable destination. Paid internships, free graduate degrees...who knew?!

Earlier today, I enjoyed a sister bonding session with my very dear friends and one of our exercises was a reflection on what life advice we would tell our younger selves. This is a photo of me holding a picture of myself in college, over 20 years ago...

Yes not bad advice. I think that avoiding bad habits and bad people might have been mine. I did not become incarcerated or land on skid row. But seems I wasted a bit too much time on nonsense.

Amazingly, I took this quiz and got German?! All this poor Spanish gone to waste :-)

"German: This central European country has become the economic envy of Europe. If you are able to speak German, you could earn $128,000 extra throughout your career, according to MIT scientist Albert Saiz. At least financially, German is worth twice as much as French and nearly three times as much as Spanish."
Speaking a foreign language can boost your salary by up to $128,000.

Located right in the heart of the action of Times Square! Perfect for exploring NYC. The service is attentive and responsive, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms. Especially for NYC! Modern and comfortable, with more than adequate space to move around. The restaurant offers a great full breakfast, the wifi always worked, the bed was comfy, the room was clean, the shower had good pressure, the towels were soft and the toiletries were good quality. Again, I was impressed for NYC. I am so glad I found this gem through a TravelZoo deal...I'll definitely return on my next trip to NYC.
