Does data excite you? Have experience with data cleansing or analysis? Science & Technology Policy Fellowships is looking for a Communications Systems intern to work with us on several exciting projects. Be on the ground floor of a Salesforce implementation and assist with data de-duping, normalization, and analysis. If data visualization is more your style, dig into website analytics to track trends and create graphics to tell our story. Tell us what skills and interests you bring to the table and you could be chosen to participate in a paid 6-month internship at the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

I just recorded a video on "How to Add a Facebook RSS Feed to a Drupal Site", please let me know what you think of if and where I can improve.  Thank you!

This is a great post from +Campbell Vertesi

"That’s because the real problem isn’t that it’s difficult to apply updates – it’s that a human being has to initiate them. ... The patch was released at 10PM for me, and bots were exploiting it by 5AM the following morning ... the fact that I’m human, and my clients are human, meant we never stood a chance of patching this issue fast enough."

He goes on to discuss automating updates... but that's not an easy solution either.

Food for thought.
